The Entrance
Cite Internationale des Arts,
Paris 2005

These works on paper are the first attempts at using a water based medium. Most of the paintings were done in 1-2 sittings, and embraced the moment of painting itself. There is a reductive quality to these paintings that point to the quality of the medium used. Rapid drying allows moments to be put down in succession, thus allowing for a 'frieze' or suspended moments in time.
